Types of Grants
The Great Bay Foundation understands that the creation of a social enterprise requires an investment of resources at various points throughout the project’s development. The Great Bay Foundation makes grants one year at a time. Grants may be requested in support of any phase of a project’s development providing the project meets the self-assessment criteria.
Funds may be provided in support of:
Planning – Including marketing, business, organizational and capacity planning
Start-up and Implementation– Including investment in equipment, staffing, technology and operational infrastructure
Expansion – Including retooling, transitioning, or rescaling to increase sustainability
